More accolades for NCDOT drone program

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The N.C. Department of Transportation has been honored by a national organization for its pioneering use of drones to respond to hurricanes and deliver medical supplies.

MRH-Richmond earns national award for quality

ROCKINGHAM — Highlighting its nationally recognized achievements in patient safety and quality, FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital–Richmond was named a Top Rural Hospital by The Leapfrog Group for the first time. Announced today, The Leapfrog Top Hospital award is widely acknowledged as one of the most competitive honors American hospitals can receive. The Top Hospital designation is awarded by The Leapfrog Group, an independent hospital watchdog organization.
