HAMLET — On Oct. 22 at 10 a.m., Richmond Community College will be launching a three-year High School Completion Campaign Kickoff called “Finish for Your Future” at the Cole Auditorium. This event will announce the campaign goals, efforts and targeted populations.

HAMLET — Country music legend John Anderson kicks off the Fidelity Bank Rock ‘N Country series this Friday at the Cole Auditorium located on the Hamlet campus of Richmond Community College. Anderson will bring a rich history of music to the stage with his signature hit “Swingin'," plus others like “Seminole Wind,” “Straight Tequila Night,” “Money In The Bank” and “Black Sheep.”

HAMLET —  During Richmond Community College’s bi-monthly Board of Trustees’ meeting on Oct. 1, there was standing room only as Dr. Dale McInnis, president of the college, introduced new faculty and staff members to the board.

HAMLET — Richmond Community College students will now have the opportunity to participate in the renowned Carolina Student Transfer Excellence Program, known as C-STEP, in order to earn guaranteed admissions to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

HAMLET — Drew Coleman always knew he was good with numbers and math, but it wasn’t until he took his first accounting class at Richmond Community College that it all clicked for him. His career path was clearly in accounting and finance.

HAMLET — Six people recently completed the weeklong Transformer Concepts class at Richmond Community College, gaining a broader knowledge of transformers used in the power industry.

HAMLET — Attending her first meeting this month, longtime attorney Melanie J. Carroll was appointed to Richmond Community College’s Board of Trustees by Gov. Roy Cooper.

HAMLET — The Fidelity Bank Rock ‘N Country series returns to the Cole Auditorium with country music stars John Anderson and Lee Womack and alternative rock band Sister Hazel.

HAMLET — Starting this fall, Richmond Senior High School students will be able to take cyber security courses at the high school through Richmond Community College.
