ROCKINGHAM — Police are investigating several break-ins and larcenies within the past two weeks, including one at a well-known community center.

On Feb. 1, a Glock 23 .40-caliber handgun was stolen from a Jeep Cherokee in the parking lot of FirstHealth Fitness, according to the incident report.

Two days later, a victim reported that someone broke into her apartment through the back door and stole the following items: a 55-inch television; a 50-inch television; a 40-inch television, $2,000 in currency; a Samsung tablet; two unspecified food items; seven oxycodone pills; and two Amazon Fire TV sticks.

The same day, Feb. 3, someone at the Leak Street Educational and Cultural Center reported that the building was broken into and four Quality Oil gas cards and $100 worth of food was stolen.

On Feb. 7, it was reported that someone walked away from Luxe Beauty with $240 in hair extensions. The suspects reportedly left the scene in a burgundy Camaro.

On Feb. 11, a man reported that someone had stolen a refrigerator, valued at $1,800, from the front porch of his home on Roberdel Road.

All cases were still under investigation early Friday afternoon.
