Senior Maylyn Wallace boards flight to tour Florida aviation school

With the help of Career Development Coordinator Jason Perakis, Captain Alan Sowell of United Airlines and Jason Gainey at the Richmond County Airport, Maylyn Wallace, a senior at Richmond Senior High School, boarded a flight Tuesday morning to Florida to tour Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University.

ROCKINGHAM — During a seminar at Richmond Senior High School, Career Development Coordinator Jason Perakis invited Alan Sowell of United Airlines, and a 1981 graduate of Richmond Senior, to talk with students who were interested in aviation.
