He was born March 31, 1942 in Richmond County, son of Mack Bullard and Virginia Burchette Bullard.

Mr. Bullard was a truck driver and worked years for Dewitt Trucking as well as for himself. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Rockingham. He was well known, had a very outgoing personality and had a huge heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathryn Freeman Bullard; and sister-in-law, Audrey Sue Scott.

He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Jones of Rockingham, Melinda McDowell of Hamlet and Delores Reynolds of Florida; brother, Jerry Bullard of Rockingham; niece, Stephanie Quick (David); great niece and nephew, Courtney and Joshua Quick.

Memorials in his memory may be made to Community Hospice, 1791 E. Broad Ave., Rockingham, NC 28379.

A private service will be held at a later date.
