RALEIGH — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission is seeking public comments through May 20 on a major revision to the 2015 Wildlife Action Plan that will add plants to the list of North Carolina’s Species of Greatest Conservation Need. RALEIGH — The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission has initiated temporary rulemaking to address Chronic Wasting Disease and the positive detection found in a hunter-harvested deer in Yadkin County on March 31.

RALEIGH — During its business meeting on Aug. 26, the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission voted to notice a temporary rule change for the 2022 striped bass harvest season in the Roanoke River Management Area. The change to rule 15A NCAC 10C .0314 - Striped Bass was recommended by agency staff to maintain harvest within the quota set for 2022.
