ACCIDENT REPORT: Vehicle Catches Fire on Hwy 1 South
On Thursday afternoon around 6:15, East Rockingham Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire at the intersection of Hwy 1 South and Eason Drive. There were no injuries to the driver and the fire was quickly extinguished upon the arrival of the fire department. Officers from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office assisted with Traffic control until the scene was cleared. Units were back in service at 7:00 pm.
