DOBBINS HEIGHTS— Local youth gathered at the Dobbins Heights Community Center on Dec. 20, 2025, for Community Connect: Youth Holiday Hangout, hosted by the I Can Scholarship Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The event welcomed children ages 6 to 15 for an evening of holiday-themed activities, music, games, and refreshments in a safe and welcoming environment. Designed to encourage positive interaction and community engagement, the Youth Holiday Hangout offered young people an opportunity to connect with peers while celebrating the season.
“Community Connect is about creating spaces where youth feel supported and valued,” said Jay Everette, executive director of the I Can Scholarship Foundation Inc. “Bringing young people together in a positive setting helps strengthen confidence, connection, and community.”
The Foundation expressed appreciation to its donors and community supporters whose generosity helped make the event possible. Their continued support allows the organization to expand youth programming and provide meaningful experiences throughout the year.
