ROCKINGHAM — A Cordova woman is facing a list of felony misdemeanor drug charges from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Records show 36-year-old Alexis Lynn Griffith was arrested without a warrant on Sunday, May 10.
According to a magistrate’s order, Griffith was found in possession of: 0.2 grams of heroin; 1.5 grams of fentanyl; 3.3 grams of methamphetamine; an unspecified quantity of marijuana; a marijuana grinder; and a box with a pill organizer.
Griffith is charged with: possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a Schedule I controlled substance; possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance; possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver methamphetamine; felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance; felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance; possession of methamphetamine; simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance; possession of marijuana paraphernalia; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She is being held in the Richmond County Jail on a $20,000 secured bond. Griffith was scheduled to have her first appearance in court on May 11 and her next court date is slated for May 28.
Online court records show Griffith has a pending charge of possession of methamphetamine from September 2025, as well as several traffic violations.
Griffith appears to have no prior convictions in the state.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
