HAMLET — A woman accused of stealing from where she worked two years ago was served with an arrest warrant on Monday.
Porscha Dominique Elaine Hickman, 35, of Hamlet, allegedly took merchandise from Dollar General when she was working there on Oct. 7, 2023.
The warrant was issued to an officer with the Hamlet Police Department on Nov. 17, 2023.
Records show Hickman was arrested on Oct. 20, 2025 — by an officer with the Rockingham Police Department — on a single charge of larceny by employee.
Hickman was booked into the Richmond County Jail on a $1,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 6.
She appears to have no other pending charges or prior convictions in North Carolina.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
