DOBBINS HEIGHTS — The I Can Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is excited to announce its upcoming Build-A-Pack event, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at noon at the Dobbins Heights Community Park, 222 Earle Franklin Drive.
The initiative invites volunteers of all ages to come together and assemble hygiene care packs for college students. These essential kits are designed to provide encouragement and support to young scholars as they pursue higher education.

“This event is about more than just filling bags — it’s about filling a need,” said Jay Everette, executive director of the I Can Scholarship Foundation, Inc. “With the recent awarding of our official 501(c)(3) status, Build-A-Pack continues our mission to support, empower, and uplift students. This milestone strengthens our ability to expand programming, serve more youth, and invite community members and donors to join us in making a lasting impact.”
Who Can Join?
The event welcomes high school students, college students, community organizations, and anyone who wants to give back. Refreshments will be served to all participants.
