ROCKINGHAM — The Leak Street Educational and Cultural Center recently announced the launch of its new afterschool program beginning Sept 14.
FIT FORCE is a physical fitness program that “targets the health and wellness of community students” in grades 4-6, according to a press release.
The program will run from 3:30-5:30 Monday-Thursday and participating students will receive “balanced, nutritious meals” from the Kids Cafe Program each day.
FIT FORCE is described as “a fun, safe and encouraging environment where kids build healthy habits, learn teamwork and grow stronger in body and mind.”
Registration will be from 3-5 p.m. Sept. 8-10 at the center, 1004 Leak Street, Rockingham.
