Jimmy Allison “Al” Horne Jr., 52, of Rockingham, passed away at his home on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026.
He was born on July 12, 1974 in Richmond County to Jimmy Allison Horne Sr. and Debra Dawkins Harrell.
Al regularly attend Timbers Crossing FWB, where he enjoyed fellowship with his church family. He had a great sense of humor and loved his family. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys as a lifelong fan.
Al was preceded in death by his grandparents, Steve and Annie Horne, Clifford and Geneva Hatcher, and John and Emma Sellers; and his cousin and best friend, Tony Fields.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Zane Horne and Anthony Seth Horne; his fiancé, Sommer Fields; his father, Jimmy Horne Sr. and wife Betty; his mother, Debra Harrell and husband Pete; sister, Bonnie Brigman and husband Christian; and many extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday Sept. 29, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Timbers Crossing FWB Church. The family will greet friends following the service.
