Martha “Susie” Braddock, 62, of Wallace, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at her home.
She was born Nov. 11, 1963 in Palatka, Florida, daughter of Arthur Boyd Braddock and Martha Ruth Jenkins Braddock.
Susie was the youngest of four siblings, a mother, grandmother, and aunt to many. She was a strong, independent woman who enjoyed hard rock and movies. She always had a smile and a bit of wit for any she met, and will be remembered fondly by her family.
Susie is survived by her daughter, Katie Cherry (Brandon) of Charleston, South Carolina; a grandson; along with cousins and extended family that loved her dearly.
A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. at Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet.
