Sandra "Sandy" Smith Hill, 64, of Rockingham, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.
She was born in New Haven County, Connecticut, daughter of both the late George Samuel Smith and Linda Lee Robinson.
Sandy loved the outdoors looking for indian arrowheads, panning for gold, rockhounding for crystals and gems. She enjoyed home crafts like crocheting and knitting blankets, and turning rocks into jewelry. She also enjoyed working with hand and power tools taking care of her own projects, vehicles, and gardening. She loved all animals, especially her kittys.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Surviving, husband, William "Bill" G. Price IV; stepson, William G. Price V; stepdaughter, Tabatha Hill; her sister, Rebecca Telesca; falf-sisters, Leone Gray and Kimberly Wright; aunt, Sheri Hudson; uncle, Roger Smith; cousins, Valerie Murphy Johnson and Charles Murphy, and several others.
Memorials may be made to the Richmond Co. Hospice, 1119 U.S. Hwy. 1 N., Rockingham, NC 28379.
