Terri Leigh Rayburn, 53, of Hamlet, passed away peacefully, in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026.
She was born on May 15, 1973 in Kennesaw, Georgia, daughter of the late Johnny Larry Rayburn and Marjorie Lynette Gladney Sutton.
Terri loved cooking, flowers, and expressing herself through art. She especially cherished her family and the time she spent surrounded by the people she loved.
She was known for her brightest smile and her kindest soul. She was never negative and always remained upbeat, positive and encouraging. Her gentle spirit and joyful outlook touched the lives of all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her beautiful heart; her creativity, her warmth, and the happiness she brought to those around her. Her smile, kindness, and love will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
Along with her parents, Terri was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Louise Rayburn Rowell.
Left to cherish her memories, her wife, Cathy Greene of the home; sons, Donald Benjamin Greene III and Robert Christian Greene; grandchildren, Ryder, River and Kinzie; brothers, Larry Rayburn II (Ramona) and Ronald Rayburn (Debbie), all of Carrollton, Georgia; brothers-in-law, Rodney Rowell of Carrollton, Georgia, and Robbie Beck (Nan) of Chesapeake, Virginia; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
