ROCKINGHAM — A man is facing several charges related to an incident last month.
An arrest warrant, taken out by the Rockingham Police Department, alleges that 35-year-old Bryant Sanquan Hamilton broke into a woman’s home on Rockingham Road and stole her iPhone 14.
Bryant also allegedly told the woman that he would kill her and that he had been watching her and “could have done it at any time.”
The warrant — charging Bryant with breaking and entering to terrorize or injure, larceny from the person and communicating threats — was issued March 10, the same day as the alleged incident.
Bryant was arrested the morning of April 13 and booked into the Richmond County Jail, where he is being held without bond. He is scheduled to appear in court April 27.
Records appear to show Bryant has no other pending charges or prior criminal convictions in the state.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
