Scotland deputies searching for missing Laurel Hill resident

UPDATE: The Scotland County Sheriff's Office located the missing man shortly after this story was published.

LAURINBURG — The Scotland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in finding a man who has been missing for several days.

According to a press release, 64-year-old Michael Wayne Langley, of Laurel Hill, was reported missing on Sept. 10.

Langley was reportedly seen by law enforcement in the area of a residence on Barnes Bridge Road, near Harry Malloy Road, southeast of Laurinburg.

According to the SCSO, deputies have checked locations where Langley is known to frequent, but has not been able to locate him.

Langley is described as being 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes. There is no description of what clothing he may be wearing.
