ROCKINGHAM — Investigators are asking for the public’s help locating a missing woman.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office published a poster to its Facebook page Monday regarding 50-year-old Saundra Elizabeth King of East Rockingham.
According to investigators, King was reported missing on Monday, although the last contact she had with family was in April.
Investigators say that it is “very uncommon” for King not to be in contact with her family.
King is described as being 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 125 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
Investigators have received varying reports from the area as to when she was last seen, so that factor is currently unknown, as well as what she may be wearing.
King does not have a vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators are reportedly working on several potential leads in the case.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts or travel direction is encouraged to contact Capt. Mitch Watson with the RCSO at 910-410-1160, Richmond County Crime Stoppers at 910-997-5454 or call 911. Anonymous tips may also be made through the P3 Tips app.
