ROCKINGHAM — A Robeson County woman is accused of having drugs in jail after allegedly stealing from a retail store.
Arrest warrants allege that 41-year-old Sandy Arthella Marie Revels, of Lumberton, stole a TV backlight from the Rockingham Walmart on March 31.
Revels was arrested the same day on misdemeanor charges of misdemeanor larceny and second-degree trespassing. She was booked into the Richmond County Jail on a $1,000 secured bond.
Her first court appearance was on April 1.
The next day, on April 2, Revels was allegedly found in possession of an unspecified quantity of fentanyl, and was subsequently charged with one felony count each of possession of fentanyl and possession of a controlled substance on prison or jail premises. She is being held without bond on those charges.
Revels is scheduled to appear in court April 9 on the misdemeanor charges and April 16 on the felony charges.

2002 - simple assault
2004 - assault by pointing a gun
2009 - possession with intent to sell a Schedule VI controlled substance, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance
