Barbara Karen Webb, 74, of Rockingham passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026 at Richmond Co. Hospice Haven.
She was born May 14, 1952 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Henry L. and Blondell Carter Webb.
Barbara retired from Perdue Industries and was a member of Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church and loved her church family. She was avid reader, enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart and love spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Denise Brown; and lifelong friend Ronnie Smith.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Childers, Pastor Eddie Hildreth and Pastor Jace Childers officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 p.m. to the service at the church.
Surviving, her sisters, Catherine Leviner (Homer Cumming) and Cindy Dawkins (Harold); a brother, Eddie Webb; a brother-in-law, Dwayne Brown; her adopted daughter, Cathy Wells (Joe); numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Gail Childers, Nancy Leviner and Diane Martin.
