Billy Jack Clark, 50, born in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, son of Bill Clark and Sally Cox Cooper, passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024 unexpectedly at home.
Billy is survived by his parents and one son, Noah Cooper Clark, and a stepson Alex Chavis; stepbrothers Dale Cooper of Hilliard, Florida, and Dwane Cooper of Callahan, Florida.
Billy is preceded in death by grandparents, Edward and Frances Cox and Willie and Thelma Clark; and stepfather, Allen L. Cooper.
Billy was graduated from Marlboro High School where he played football. He enjoyed golf and fishing for catfish in his spare time. Billy worked for many years in the shipping department of Perdue in Rockingham. Billy was also a volunteer at Wallace Fire and Rescue for several years.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Lighthouse Ministries Church in Wallace, South Carolina, with the Rev. Charles Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
